I came stressed out and alone, awaiting calm holidays with some good books on the go and nice food. But yet after two days I through my books in the corner and went out with all the nice people staying at your hotel. We discovered the whole area and had so much fun, I never expected. Hello! My name is Celine. I stayed for a long weekend in New Romney in the hotel Renaissance.
I have spent a fantastic weekend: the sun was unbelievable; the hotel is really cosy and you have the impression to be at home. The big kitchen is great: you can prepare your own meal. People living in Kent are very kinds and I appreciated a lot because I haven’t met anybody English before.
Whereas I come from the South in France (near from Mediterranean sea), New Romney’s beach impressed me for its difference: you can practice plenty of sport like sky surf, wave kite surf, sailing, jet skiing and more… it is amazing! I think I will definitely come back and take some time in New Romney Renaissance Hotel. Thanks for all.

Hi! Thanks to all the team in Renaissance Hotel, I have spent a wonderful week with you. The “Welcoming party” on Friday was so nice and funny, with all the guests drinking and dancing together! I will remember for a long time the afternoons on the beach with our staff and my friends. I’m waiting for my next week of holidays to see you another time! Michael, Nancy.

Je me souviendrais longtemps de cette journée passée a New Romney. C’est super de pouvoir etre en 1h30 (depart de Londres) au bord de la mer et de profiter du soleil au calme. En plus, les paysages sont magnifiques le long de la cote. Vivement la prochaine fois ! Marie, Lyon

Quel bonheur de pouvoir se detendre en famille dans un cadre si convivial. L’hotel est tres chaleureux et les personnes en charge tres accueillantes. Il y a plein d’activites accessibles a tous, adultes comme enfants (comme le petit train a vapeur que je recommande a tous) et pour les amateurs de soleil, la plage est tres belle.

Ich kann nur eins sagen, ein Kurztrip nach New Romney ist unbedingt emphehlenswert. Zur Zeit absolviere ich ein sechsmonatigs Praktikum in London und durch nen Kumpel hab ich von dem Renaissance Hotel nahe der Kueste in Kent gehoert. Und da wir eh mal aus London raus wollten, war das die perfekte Moeglichkeit einige Tage zu entspannen. Gluecklicherweise hatten wir auch noch bomben Wetter und so konnten wir den ganzen Tag faul am Strand liegen. Sogar die Temperaturen waren sehr angenehm, so um die 30 Grad. Haette nie erwartet solches Wetter in England zu erleben. Man hoert ja immer: “Und geh nie aus dem Haus ohne Regenschirm”, aber an diesem Wochenende reichten Badehosen voll aus. Das leidige Ergebnis von soviel Sonne war allerdings ein Sonnenbrand wie er im Buche steht. Trotz alle dem war es ein echt genialer Ausflug und was mich als mitteldeutschen Flachlandbewohner betrifft, fand ich den Gezeitenwechsel von Ebbe und Flut echt faszinierend. Irgendwie beeindruckend wie das Wasser bei Flut langsam und unaufhaltsam wieder an den Strand zurueckkommt. Ich kann nur eins sagen, wer mal Ausspannen will und ein paar schoene Tage verbringen will, der brauch nicht unbedingt nach Mallorca fliegen, New Romney macht es auch. Viele Gruesse von Eberhardt

Ich kann zwar nicht sagen, dass man New Romney unbedingt gesehen haben muss, aber wenn man mehrere Wochen in London zugebracht hat (und ich weiss wovon ich spreche, denn ich mache ein Praktikum in der selbigen Metropole), dann ist New Romney echt das Paradies auf Erden. Kein Muell soweit das Auge reicht, oder wenigstens nur in den hintersten Winkeln, keine vollgestopften U-Bahnen mit all den nervigen und gestressten Menschen (einschliesslich mir selbst) und kein Autoverkehr der das ueberqueren einer Strasse zum Survivaltrip werden laesst. Einfach nur Ruhe, das Meer und nette, ungestresste Menschen. Und wenn das Wetter mitspielt, so wie bei unserem Ausflug, jede Menge Sonnenschein. Also wer nicht mehr weiss wie saubere Luft riecht und wer Nachts mal schlafen will, ohne von Sirenen gestoert zu werden, der sollte unbedingt mal dort vorbeischauen. Unsere Unterkunft, das Renaissance Hotel, hatte zwar keine 5 Sterne, dafuer stimmt bei dem das Preis-Leistungs-Verhaeltnis. Da bekommt man fuer nen moderaten Preis wirklich jede Menge geboten. Halt nicht vergleichbar mit London. Fazit: Einfach nur empfehlenswert.

Sono andata a New Romney senza sapere, se ci sono belli posti. Sono stato lavorando in Londra per quattro mesi in centro per un'assicurazione conosciuta. Non sono contenta veramente di andare in Metropolitana, l'aria impulita, tutto ils stress e la pioggia di Londra. Ma dopo ho ricevuto un email, dicendo che in New Romney, Kent c'e un bell'albergo "Renaissance Hotel". C'era una offerta speciale per andrli e non ho deciso subito, perche non ho sabuto niente su Kent. Mi ho informato sul sito internet di www.newromney.net. Ho deciso di fare una "pausa" di Londra, e di andare a New Romney. Ecco ho fatto la riservazione con internet. Mi ho deciso di fare una picolla visita a Brighton con il treno. Quando sono arrivata in New Romney ho visito questo bello treno miniaturo, e cosi molto picollo ma molto famoso. Vicino alla stazione del treno c'e il Renaissance Hotel. Le persone in albergo sono stato molto gentile e mi hanno servito benissimo. La camera e stata cosi bella, che ho pensato di stare qualche giorni in piu ma non e stato possibile. Ho bagniato tutti i giorni in mare, sono statae in sabbia e ho preso il sole, e stato come in Sicilia. Molto pecato che ho dovuto ritornare a Londra. Grazie mille per questi bei giorni e penso di ritornarli. Lucia, Pisa
